Help!! Graphic Error!!

Hey dudes!

im in a geat panic! i played 9 days hl2 on my pc without any problem but since yesterday after i installed new drivers (nvidia) for my #d card problem began....

my menu is very ugly , low polygon, stranfe colours, stripes , and much more strange things, the game is running fine, just like before but the graphics are much lower and the same problems as the menu are here...

ive re-installed twice the newest drivers, but no changing...

PLZ, PLZ help me i want to play furter!

512mb
GeForce FX 5600 128 mb

Rollback to the old drivers.

Did you remove the other drivers before re-installing the old drivers? vice-versa

i removed in software: Nividia drivers, than i restarted my pc, than downloaden drivers from july, than restarted again, than played the game, it runs good but there are graphic faileurs and coloured stripeds in my screen, witch are very anoying

plz help me, i realy want to play hl2 today...

Load up a different game to see if it has trouble too.

If not, then recheck HL's video settings.

i have windows in 1024-768 and hl2 in 800-600, all settinmgs are even with 4 days ago, when the game did work normal, i dont understand this problem, how can i delete all the graphic drivers to install a GOOD nvidia driver for my FX 5600

does somebody has a link for a good one or sugestions?

First, uninstall your drivers.
Restart
Install a 'Standard VGA Adapter'
Restart
Re-install the latest Nvidia drivers from the Nvidia website
Restart

i still have got the problems, do i have to re-install halflife? can i save my save games than?

"and i checked, all my games have the same problem, computer freezes for some minute, i think its a virus now all programms ( screensavers) have the problems
