when i am in kleiners lab in red letter day when gordon freeman is going to get teleported my computer restarts on me i have a nvidia geoforce and direct x 9.0c please help me

also does realtek ac'97 audio driver work with windows xp and has it passed the windows logo test

Yes, it should work. Update your graphic and sound drivers (Get some help from a person who is knowledgeable in computers if you don't understand or need help) and make sure DirectX 9.0c is the december edition. If all that doesn't work, try validating: steam://validate/220
