i want to change my half life 2 resalution to 1280x800 but it doesent give me that option to change it to that, is there any other way to change?

i wanted to change my resalution on half life 2 to 1280 x 800.
but it doesnt give me this option.
is there any other way to change is to 1280 x 800?

yeah you can I think
change the option to widescreen in video options ingame
then select 1280*800 in the menu

ok, unless you have a different game, then that isnt an option......with graphics set to the highest, the best you can do in widescreen is around 960 or something....

well my computer is 1280*800 so there must be widescreen support, I don't remember (and I am'nt using it now so I can't check )

I was talking to john actually, wanted to see that in his options cause mine apparently cannot be that high

lol sorry for the delay - I select widescreen 16:10 in all source games and then choose 1280*800

Put this as a parameter behind your HL2.exe: -width 1280 -height 800
