Help!!

Gutted. Made it through past level 11, loving the game, just about to start battling the striders, then computer crash, rebuild required, back to square one...

Nowmuch as I love this game, what I really would like is if someone could point me towards a save game from chapter 12, or alternatively a chapter choosing cheat (I have one from PC Gamer UK but for some reason only allows one to choose up to chapter 11.

Open up the config.cfg file, it's located in C:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\[email protected]\half-life 2\hl2\cfg

Open it with notepad and scroll down to this line

sv_unlockedchapters "XX"

Change the XX to any number, coresponding with the chapter that you were on.

Now you should be able to start playing again from the place you stopped at.
