HL2 icon or Steam icon?

Hi guys,

Just out of curiousity, does your game use the Steam desktop icon? 'Cause unlike the HL2 icon used by Half Life 2 and Episode One, my Episode Two uses the same icon as Steam, I was just wondering if there was a reason for this as it seems really out of place?

Yes. Evidently it's been changed. TF2 and Portal are also represented by the Steam icon. I figure it's something to do with the fact they're technically one product: the Orange Box. You wouldn't get the icons on the Xbox, say

I got that too, until I used garrysmod.org and downloaded an icon pack, now all my icons are similar and are all shiny and nice, for instance hl1 all have the same, hl2 all have the same...all editions of games have the same, makes em easier to navigate when you got over 20 like me

Somone on theese fourms actually made an icon pack that I decided I would use if I didint run it all off the steam app. They were all unique and looked simple/neat.

Cheers guys - oddly, for me, Portal and Team Fortess have normal icons, and only Episode Two is different. Strange - never mind, I apologise for creating this rather pointless topic, I was simply curious. Cheers for reading and replying.

I didn't like the Steam icon for Ep2 I replaced it with one of the old HL2 icons. :/

I like those shiny icons much better though. Ta!
