Why didn't you vote in the European Parliament elections, hl2.net?

I did my duty as an European citizen and voted, thus securing my right to bitch and moan about the inefficency, bureaucracy and massive amounts of monies given to my country.

Now, more seriously, who did vote, who didn't and why Libertas sucks?

I don't care for the Scottish parties.

I voted and I am proud to have voted.

For those who didn't vote in North West and Yorkshire then please accept a hearty up yours for not doing anything to help prevent the BNP getting elected.

:)

I voted in the elections in spain on friday ...for the losing party. the right wing partido popular won the election :(

Didn't vote, couldn't be bothered to sort out a postal vote considering that had I been in England I probably would have just gone to the polls in order to spoil my ballot anyhow.

I'm glad the BNP got an MEP elected, it's highly amusing and shows up the shambolic state of politics in Britain for what it is. Perhaps the enormous sense of entitlement displayed by the larger parties will become diminished by stuff like this, making them more responsive and accountable to the electorate as a result. RIGHT??

I didn't vote because i'm not a European of any kind.

I didn't vote because I don't give a shit. I didn't even know who the candidates were. I'll vote when the presidential elections come, and that's assuming that I like any of the candidates...

I didn't vote because i refuse to vote Liebour or Tory. So the BNP got 1 guy elected in the North west it's not the end of the world, people are making far to big a deal of it. I stand by my decision to get pissed instead of voting, and now it'll show the big party's that they aren't untouchable and have to sort themselves out to prevent people like the BNP coming in.

...Why not vote for LibDems then?

Nothing will piss off those other two groups of ****s than whoever winning needing a coalition after the next general election.

I didn't see anyone for the LibDems standing for Europe here.

I voted for Rumsfeld. I believe his ideas to be the most efficient in today's climate of epic poofterage.

I voted.

I was the first and only person to vote in my entire building, which is slightly worringing.

I voted for this dude:

Hans van Baalen, VVD (liberals)

Two sides of the same coin. One man holding all the puppets.

However, i did vote for the Pirate Party, they do seem to be free of the special interest corruption behind the doors.

He looks like a cross between Drew Carey and Andy Richter.
I was going to go with Carey and Conan O'Brien. Or just a fat Conan O'Brien.

Swedish Pirate Party; BNP. Damned contrasts.

I voted for the BNP because mutha**** Gordon Brown and mutha**** Europe AMIRITE

UURRRGGG

I voted for the Lib Dems, partly because they're sort of all right and partly because what Eejit said.

I would have liked to vote for the LibDems.
I'm still waiting on my postal vote.
Dorh!

Well i just saw on the news that the social democrats (aka former comunists) won the elections in my country.

Our representatives in the European parliament.

Stupid shit...

I didn't see anyone for the LibDems standing for Europe here.

Seriously? I thought the Lib Dems stood everwhere nowadays? And considering the Euro constituencies are so big I don't see how they wouldn't be in an area..

I only found out the vote was on the day after it was closed. And I could've made such a difference...

didn't vote...no point in choosing between selfish corrupt morons and slimy backstabbing cocksuckers

I was too busy living in a real country.

I intended to get familiar with the candidates (seeing as the two largest parties in Ireland are pretty much the same, except Fianna Fail is bigger and people are angry at them at the moment, and I don't like Sinn Fein or the Greens and I'm rather suspicious of Libertas voting for candidates rather than parties seems like the only reasonable option) but never got around to it and just not voted. Yay for putting things off and then realising you don't have enough time to do them any more!
