The other, 'screenshot of your house' thread must have been deleted?

I'm considering buying a house, since I'm becoming quite wealthy, and would like a place to put my 100's of excess health and magic potions, daedric weapons, and other things that I'm not willing to sell, but don't feel the need to carry around with me everywhere.

I would like a nice house, not some run down piece of shit.

After I buy a house, I'll post some screenshots. I've already got a couple things for my display shelf, like a skull and a scythe.

Anyone have a house? Could you post some screenshots, along with what town it's located in, and how much you paid - if you can remember?

EDIT: well I bought a house in Anvil, and it was dirt cheap $5000 gold (i have about $25,000 gold left) and its the best house I have ever been in. It's fabulous. :p It really is beautiful. It's got everything. And I mean everything! Pull a lever in the basement and the wall folds in, revealing a secret laboratory. Muahahaa

The Anvil house is great. Personally, I prefer the house in Skingrad (so far) because it's very spacious. I'm thinking of moving into the Guild-Hall that you clear out in Leywn (a fighters guild quest) - only downside is you won't want to store stuff in chests there. It's 3 levels and very spacious, which I like.

I like my Skingrad house most. Plus, it's the only house where you can have a house maid that will give you unlimited pie and mead! :D

Bumpititus rex.

Bought the house on the water in the Imperial City. Like it allot, despite what most people say :D

Overview of the bed area. Hehehe, I thought the little white bottles for the skooma were pretty cool. I was expecting normal potion bottles.

My storage droor for all my Spells and Potions. Got those Mankar Camaron books in there too, as I couldn't find a place for them in the house. *I added a poison right next to the potion just today, for contrast*

My alchemy chest and newspaper stack. You can see the little writting/drinking area near the fireplace in the bottom corner.

Angle on the dining table. Haven't decided what to put on the shelf yet, as not much fits on it.

Overview of the dining table.

Overview of the bed. The note is a Hangover remedy I found while I was looting Thoronir's place late one night.

Really like this place. Not much space, but it's very homely. Don't think i'll buy another house for awhile, as this one has everything I need.

I've got the Bruma house, fully furnished. Its nice and cozy, but I really just love the location more than anything.

My house is a total disaster. I've got 100's of plants and 100's of potions and dozens of swords all over the floors. When I walk, bottles and shit get kicked across the room.

How do I know if I can use chests and drawers or not? I've heard that if there is anything inside them originally, then if I put things in them, they will disappear after a while. Any advice? I've got the manor at Anvil.

Lol, I have the house in Anvil, however personally, I prefer to live in the Arch-Mages tower at the Arcane University. It's got two floors (you can put stuff in the council meeting room) A chest which replicates any ingredients you put in it, an enchantment and spellmaking stand AND ITS FREE!!! You just have to finish the Mages Guild quests. :)

EDIT: Also, how do you place things so neatly? All I can do is hit shift click and drop them! :(

Well if you point at something and click Z to drag it.

And if you put things in a chest in your house they'll stay there forever. Its only other peoples chests that cause problems.

Yeah, it's Z. Lots of fun messing around with my house. This game is better than Gmod in some respects :D
