When you shoot the gunship down, one will come up the lighthouse anyway and lead you to the door...even if they're all dead, one wil stil come up regardless.

By the way, i haven't killed the chopper yet, i ran out of rockets and it wont blow up!

Go to like the second or third level of the lighthouse, there's a box full of infinite ammo for the rocket launcher.
