Let's all make a guess! I'm assuming the engine took all this time... Hopefully they keep it. And given the fact that between E3 and now... There were so many levels thrown out and so many more put in... I'm guessing it could be done in a matter of 12 months, less if they realize we'd all rush out and buy it if they LOWERED the price on steam. Think about it. Supposedly they earn about $7.00 per copy that gets bought in the store, assuming it costs 50 bucks. On steam, they cut shipping and the middle man... They're making over $30.00 for each copy. If they were smart they'd release 4 more and end it with a half life 6. That would make my day. As long as the ending came within 4 years. My guess for HL3 is less than 18 months. As early as 9 months. Lets see if they want to have one baby, or two before the next release If HL3 doesn't come for 5 years, I'll boycot! :bounce:
