The Episode and Three should be on the same line, and they should be much smaller, and in a different font.

And there's not enough colour. It looks like an iPod advert without an iPod.

It's too bland.

I'd make the background more interesting. It's currently extremely boring. Simply because it's just one colour.

If you want to stick with the whole iPod/simplicity effect, then I'd draw some fancy vector art in the background with slightly different shades of orange and red. Maybe add a couple of Combine sillouettes; not black, but a dark orange, so you keep Gordon as the focus. Make the crowbar white (perhaps his glasses too). Make the text white (perhaps). Stick a 2 up on the HL2 name (to be consisitent). Look at the other logos and do that. So stick "Episode Three" over the line. Perhaps stick the Lambda logo in the background, also as a dark orange. Make the hair sharp, not blurred.

Otherwise, I'd get a picture (epic-looking, of course), and stick it in the background. Desaturate and colourize it so it's all orangey. Make sure it's slightly faint/desaturated so Gordon still stands out. I'd desillouettize Gordon, so you can actually see him. Perhaps desaturate him slightly. The text would definitely have to be white in that case.

I think it needs some kind of border.

Oh, and ask a Mod to move it to the art section.

There's little we can do about it, unfortunately, unless EA decide they want to produce a Gold edition or something stupid. Besides, they would've pointed out the cover had no indication of Portal or TF2.
