Is the stutter bug fixed?

Was it as bad as it was in Ep.1 for anyone?

The game itself runs very smooth...Ive had audio issues, though..mostly in Portal, but the sound files cut out part way through and resume a second later...

but it doesn't freeze up for split seconds and stutter like ep 1 did?

Ive only seen stutters or micro-freezes when loading the next section of a map...but you can compare your PC to my specs listed below...

yeah... your specs are better.... mine are not to great, I hope it runs. Hl2 and ep 1 ran...

To tell you the truth, the first couple of times running ep2, it crashed my computer. I figured the gfx card stopped responding because it may of overheated (I turned it off for about and hour, tried again and have had no problems since.)

But yea, I think the stuttering still persists and always will with source. Not as bad as when HL2 first came out, but still there.

I had no trouble with Ep2 at all. HL2 crashed on me, and Ep1 was awful for crashing (still does now when I play it) but Ep2 was absolutely perfect

Same. Minor sound skipping at times (particularly at the start of levels), but I believe RAM is the key factor in that.

Ep2 stuttered for me once, like it was going to crash, but it didn't kept chugging along!
