Realistic not as in "life-like" or "doable" but as in "would people play this?"
I've been trying to think up a really innovative idea for some time now.
So far,what I thought up of is an FPS that plays with guns, but where killing is neither encouraged nor scored, and is a very rare thing. That would mean guns are innacurate and used mostly for supression, and getting killed just puts you back in a short reinforcment queue. Kills are not announced publically or locally. This way, all the emphasis is on objective based game play. The problem is how can you be prevented from doing an objective if you can't get kill :/.
