Hi!

I've searched a bit but I couldn't find an answer.
Does anybody of you know if the lights in the game are destructible?

Thanks.

One thing I know. "It could be done in a mod" :p

the best answer I have seen on this board!!!
According to valve everything could be done in a mod, however you might not even get a chance because who know when it comes out!
AHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

What? do you mean like where you shoot a light and It falls?

I think that could be done in Half-Life 2 and I know that in Half-Life 1 you could break lights so I'm guessing you can do the same in Half-Life 2.

yep, was possible in HL1 so will be now. You could in theory make all lights destructable

Lights are destructible, hanging lamps can be shot (they'll swing as in Far cry, D3) and light will move, along with the shadow on top of the lamp - however everything else won't cast dynamic shadows with the moving light source (hanging lamp). They'll probably be static.

I heard that Half-Life 2 had dynamic shadows.

Well, every game that has shadows for characters have dynamic shadows, so that isn't anythning new.

And there will probably be destructible lights, I don't see why Valve wouldn't include that into the game. But I couldn't even find one destructible light in doom3.
