This has happened more often after the release of the Audio Suttering patch fix on the 24th of November. Whenever I play Half-Life 2 or CS:S, my game will suddenly hang at random points of the game and make a sound. I have already downloaded the latest drivers for my sound card and already gotten the Catalyst BETA 4.12 (Also tried 4.11). I can not get out of the game and I need to reboot once my game hangs. Yes i know you people are going to tell me to use the mat_forcemanagedtexturesintohardware command but that does not work either. My computer specs are as follows:
Windows XP Professional (Service Pack 1)
Samsung SyncMaster 151s Monitor
AMD Athlon XP2600+ Barton @ 2.34 GHz
