Well, I just bought a G25 today not only because it looked awesome but also because I want to try out how the clutching works without screwing up a real life car. :E
I gotta say it's a bloody awesome wheel.

From Wiki said:
Compared with other wheels in its class, the G25 is at the higher end of the range with an RRP of USD $299.99. The higher cost is due to the inclusion of a number of features often not found in cheaper wheels, including:

  • A six-speed gear stick, including a reverse gear. It can be switched between sequential and 'H' shift patterns.
  • Leather wrapping on the gear stick and wheel, and stainless steel brake, gas and clutch pedals. Each pedal has a distinct level of resistance to simulate the difference between brake, gas and clutch.
  • 900? of rotation
  • Two force feedback motors
  • A carpet grip which keeps the pedals in position while playing.

So far I've tried GT5P demo (clutching didn't work though in the demo  ), GTR2, rFactor (some car simulator that came with the box), LFS and Test Drive Unlimited (which so far has been the best one mainly because of the open-ended world so you can really try out the car together with the G25).

Anyway, I'm getting hang of it but still have a long way to go.
If you like driving simulators I'd definitely recommend it despite the quite high price tag.
