lost headcrap weapon

I heard there was a 'headcrap' weapon originally supposed to be in HL2 that never made it to the final cut.

I imagine this weapon would have looked like the little alien creatures in HL1 that chase your enemies and then explote...

Any info on this?

LAMAR is the headcrab weapon, you just don't see that little witch in action. I guess they wanted to make er mysterious.

as far as i can remember, molotovs in the leak had a headcrab model when you hold them in hands

lol. there was meant to be a bit of the game where you reach the machine that fires those headcrab missiles and you get to use it, but they cut it out for some reason..

If you made it to the headcrab-missile firing weapon then it would remove some of the mystique of the missiles. :dork:

Anyway, it WASN'T a typo. The original weapon plan WAS the "Headcrap." Gordon's HEV suit would funnel his excrement to an exit in the top of his helmet that would shoot turds like a mortar at enemies which "explote" (that would be to shatter into many smaller, flaming turd fragments) on contact. :thumbs:
