We did a lab in Chem today, one part involving torching a very small piece of magnesium. And by small, I mean, like, 1 micrometer thick and 1 cm long. Well, let's just say I was blind for 3 seconds. And then I thought to myself: "Now imagine that times 5000 and you have a flashbang grenade."
