I didn't see a thread about this, so pardon me if I missed it
there are a lot of smaller alterations in ep1, it feels like valve is gradually adding and changing things so by the end of episode 3, going back to hl2 will feel weird
the health and ammo counters on the crosshair - a la some old videos of hl2
as reginald has mentioned continuously, the crossbow seems to have less of an arc
poison headcrabs seem to be easier to kill (?)
when switching through weapon categories, if you leave the weapons menu open, it will fade away (I actually dislike this a lot)
and of course things like headcrabs on ceilings and npcs jumping off ledges
anything else you've noticed?
