Yea, Valve has been approached about a movie adaptation of HL. So far, they've turned down every offer.

And, I have bad karma about the DOOM movie...can we get Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson in any more cheesy flicks?

Erm, actually Karl Urban is acting as the Doom guy. The Rock is someone else, not sure who though.

The Rock's still in it, though. He annoys me...he couldn't act his way out of a wet paper bag. So, unless the flick includes the Rock's disintegration by a BFG9000, becoming Cacodemon chow, or some otherwise messy and painful demise, I just won't be happy.

a hl movie just wouldnt work. Yeh, the story is brilliant, but it would just be boring watching Gordon shoot aliens for an hour and a half. Unless the movie was like an extra part of the story.hmm..
