Open Steam, Find Half Life 2 Death Match & click on it to download (It's free!).

You can also play Counter Strike: Source which is widely regarded as one of the finest FPS multiplayer games there is!

Steam should install itself automatically when you install Half-Life 2. You can't play Half-Life 2 without Steam, so I guess you haven't even installed the game yet

Then you will need to buy the games you want to play. Halflife Generation will include Halflife, Counter strike etc. or the newly released Halflife 2 with CS : Source and HL2DM. Generation is £20, and Halflife 2 from the shop (standard copy) is £30. Hope you didnt think they were free.

I bought the game on ebay....Is the stream free ??? or i have to pay extra ?

Steam is free and comes included with Half-Life 2.

I'd strongly recommend buying Half-Life 2 from the shop though. The ones sold on ebay are usually just a CD key that's already in use or they've been illegally generated by a key generator. When Valve find out you're using them they'll ban you.

Well... it's too late to buy the game from the shop..... but with the stream downloaded, will i be able to play on line or is there a membership fee ?

Its free and its called 'steam'. You need to put in your cd key first in order to register the games which you cant do as they are registered with another account. You need a new unused cd key. Steam is totally free to use, its just a programme that runs games. But you need to buy the games.
