I was wondering if it was possible to get a entity or brush to play music when the game starts?

Okay I have an issue on the same topic;
I have a rooftop where I want a windsound to loop. With env_soundscape and ambient_generic I'll get a spherical sound barrier, but I want a square one so that I can end the windsound and replace it with another once you come indoor (This concerns at total of 4 areas where I want other sounds).

Does anyone know how you would go about this?

Trigger_multiples that turn off and on the appropriate ambient?

Wouldn't work in MP, but...

For ambient generic, just refer to them as /yourcatalog/yoursound.wav or .mp3.
the /yourcatalog will be located in the sounds folder in CSS or HL2DM.

For Soundscapes, I have no idea.

ok i got my files loaded and i can see them but when i load the level i cant hear anything. what am i doing wrong?

I have no idea. Probably because you misplaced the radius of which the sound can be heard, or have a very low sound. I have to say that they don't play the sounds very loudly. (It's like an ambient sound).

Check the flags. 'Start On' should be selected.

ok i got it all working but when i get in the level everytime i move it is extremely choppy then if i take the music out it is just fine?

I'd say new comp, but is this just for your map or all maps with sounds in them?
