The idea of this mod, is my own idea.
Who misses the old days of rocket jumping? no headshots? no reloading? full bright or single lighting maps?
Games like Quake2 are golden gems of the past, and almost everyone misses those days, and still a good 70 servers can be found on GameSpy Arcade for Quake2 at any given time, which means people still play it regularily.
Instead of me ranting and raving about all thats wrong with HL2DM and telling everyone to go out and buy Q2 again, im making a mod with a small team of dedicated hardcore deathmatch gamers, to bringback the olden day DM gameplay, with graphics and physics of the now
so in short: Were going to mod HL2 to act alot like quake2 did back in the days of multiplayer (without the horrendous netcode of Quake), with better graphics and physics (ragdolls mostly). Were even recreating levels such as The Edge in hammer. Here are some pics of The Edge source in development at the botom.

its a simple mod, and were really only looking for an Alpha, beta, and final release, with some minor tweaks and level packs as extra stuff.
