nice laptop. whether its xp or vista, up to you. after using vista for a month now, i prefer it over xp.

get a better HDD though, i got the inspiron 9400 and trust me, you're gonna love the system, but hate the 5400 HDD. it's so damn slow. some games like oblivion would be running fine, but the HDD is constantly reading and lagging the game.
