I still haven't decided on a case yet.
Maybe you guys have some suggestions.
Nothing too pricey though.Something below 100$.
Thx in advance.

Well lets see here

New Pc =$3,000
X-Box 360 = $300
Waiting in line for a 360 = Priceless

On a more serious note that is going to be one kick A$$ machine . You know what would go great with that setup a 32" HDtv Lcd like this one. :)

I might go with the Amd Athlon 3700+ San Diego processor and a 7800gt instead.I've compared them to the other processor and it outperforms it in every game by 20-30 fps.It would cost me a few bucks less and i'd able to get a much better gfx card cause of it.Plz post your opinions.Thx.

i agree 7800gt and 3700 dual core dosent really have an effect on anything right now

Ahaha, you can get a good PC for even 1000~. Providing you already have a decent monitor. 3000 Lol.

Get the 3700+... It has 1MB L2 chace... same as the 3800+ X2. But with the X2 it is split, so each core only get 512KB each. The extra cache is much better. Plus, if you need any extra speed (which you wont) they overclock really well. I can get 2.8GHz stable out of mine.

And the 7800GT is just aweshens.
Enjoy! :D

I would say keep the dual core. Multi-threaded drivers are already out and some games currently are showing some type of FPS increase over single core processors. Also, lets not forget that games might start being multi-threaded themsevles, so yeah. Its all about preparing for the future.
