Apparently the new Game Informer isuue has an interview with Lombardi that reveals some gameplay details.
I'll qoute from the post on Steampowred forums:
"it included hinting around about spys being able to still disgiuse themselves, and feign deaths. Also, Doug said that "sharking" (where scouts can run across water) was a reality. Engineers will make ammo boxs, turrets, and health suppliers. The medic's concussion grenades were in TF2. Also HW guy will be thrown much less farther by grenades then any other class"
