Well i heard a crazy idea that you had already killed Nihilanth before HL1(why he looked stitched up)maybe thats how their going to make HL3.You travel from planet to planet destroying the combine "admins".

He was stitched up because he was genetically engineered just like the controllers. If you look into the controller's heads there is metal, they were made by the combine and later the controllers maded nihilanth as a monarch of sorts for themselves.
