I was just going through my junk heap of a room and found my Half-Life And Opposing Force boxes (why the hell would i throw those away!?) I was looking through the op4 manual and they have little notes at the bottom of some of the pages writen from Shepperd (guy you play)
He's talking about them uping the amount of Indoor combat and talking about seeing the G-man around check him out. Then he says stuff about rumors about a place called the Black Mesa Reserch Facility. And that people are saying "we should be ready in case "it" happens soon".
Sooooooo.....I am now assuming that the "accident" at Black Mesa was definetly not an accident and that the G-man was getting everything ready long before anything happend.
But I think the fact that Gordon survives through the whole thing was a surprise to the G and being the opertunistic kinda guy he is, offers Gordon the job.
Just thought I'd put that up.....probably tons of things you all already knew and dont care about and would have stoped reading by now if you had. But what ever.:afro:
{edit} oh yeah and i wanted to say that the manual for Half-Life kicked compleat and total ass. All the concept drawings in the backround were amazing. I hope they do somthing like that for hl2.{/edit}
