After doing a sound-to-video project on a claymation film (some of Bruce Bickford's material off Frank Zappa's Baby Snakes film), I decided to have a play myself at making some plasticine artwork for my band. I've never been a painter or drawer, but I had a play with a little kid's pack yesterday and now I feel like I could get hooked on the stuff! I didn't do that band artwork as I didn't have enough of a single colour to do what I wanted...today I went and got 20 quids worth of stuff and have been messing with it all day.
I was listening to Pink Floyds song Bike t'other day and I remember hearing about a mouse called Gerald and something about a house, thus...
[Disclaimer: Camera quality is poor, my technique is piss poor, but it's just for the funnies really]
Incidentally, I just looked up the lyrics for the song, and the inspiring verse is:
I know a mouse
And he hasn't got a house
I don't know why
I call him Gerald
He's getting rather old
But he's a good mouse
