Hehe... 63 hours of gametime and I've beaten the game, and gotten the national pokedex, and caught one of the new legendaries. (after the E4.)

The national pokedex is what you get after you see all the poke(mans) on the new continent. It allows you to trade using the GBA slot on the DS from the other versians. It also opens up new areas, with higher level poke(mans) and new legendaries.
The pokedex has room for all 480+ poke(mans) in the game(s).

Nice, sea. You should have added how there are like twice as many legendary pokemon as in it's predeccesors though.

Just got Emerald.. play through it.. then get the regis... then migrate 'em over.. then spend over 50,000 pokedollars (yen? YEN!)
for balls.. (no pun intended.) and catch it. Look! more tactics than Warcraft 3 took!

It was my impression pokemon fell out of fashion several years ago, yet they are still repackaging red/blue/yellow, as they did with gold/silver. Obviously it still grips the hardcore fans.

Gold and Silver were the best in the series. Ruby and Sapphire were a step-back imo. >_>

Ok incoming funny Pokemon story:

When I was younger (5th grade) one of my past friends had pokemon Red, and I had Blue. He used to be my friend, but through various circumstances we no longer really hung out or talked. Most of it was I moved away but then came back, but also he was kind of made fun of a lot by my other idiot friends so he became a bit of an outcast.

Anyways, he called me up stating he had pokemon Red and he had like 149 pokebutts or w/e and just needed to trade with me for his final pokemon, and he would trade his to me in exchange. So, I traded with him and then he kept calling my house so we could hang out but I didn't answer. I USED HIM FOR HIS POKEMON

I HAVE NO SPINE

I needed my pokemans though...

Blue? Why not just use the old I has an Abra and can teleport even though a trainer has spotted me, and catch mew on the bridge trick?
