An update to Counter-Strike: Source has just been released. Steam will update itself automatically when you restart. Here is a list of the changes:

This might be a dumb question, but this isn't coming down for HL2 because that part hasn't been preloaded yet, right? Or is it that their game engine is sufficiently modular that the changes they're making don't affect the SP-only HL2? I'd guess this would be a game engine change, and that HL2 included the whole engine.

EDIT: There is a new HL2 preload, albeit a small one. It was 99% when I just opened it, now I'm back to 100.

And yes, I check every day.

Well, so far the cracked version has stayed ontop of all updates released so far.

VAVLe will probably impliment something to catch them when VAC2 is turned on.
