is there anyway that I can use my PS2 controller for Half-Life 2? I have a PS2 controller adapter which is a USB plug. I use it for my emulators and what not, but is there a way to do it with half-life 2.

so that he'll think that he's play it on PS2 of course...

i agree with sinkoman, there is less buttons which = less things that you can do

thats the main reason y i hate fps on console

Buy an MX1000 and a wireless keyboard.

I love laying on my bed listening to music with it. Best mouse i've ever used.

Then again, I haven't gone through too many mice :P

Wacom ftw. In fact, I'm using one now to browse forums.

i agree, get a wirless keyboard and mouse, mine isnt the most expencive of sets but it still works well, and means i can lay on my bed and play games, and you can pick up wirless desktop sets quite cheep now

Wireless lags and just gets annoying.

Also, Timesplitters is an awsome FPS better than most PC ones (excluding HL/HL2 obviously).

MX1000, never gets wireless lag.

Timesplitters was a fun MP fps. I dabbled in it a bit with my friend.

Ahem. Timesplitters.

Quoted for truthness. What's the point? What's wrong with a rodent and button-board?

ok ok i agree with timesplitters because thats an awsome game

just get HL1 for PS2 and pretend that it is HL2!
or I guess you could also wait for HL2 to come out for the crap xbox. the xbox controller isnt as good as the PS2's, but if you like using joysticks that much, it works.
speaking of that though, i don't get why they are releasing HL2 on the worst console out there...

Lol

Sorry. To each his own. The Xbox and Gamecube are the only consoles that could produce the effects to port HL2. And since the gamecube market is not big enough to make a port justifiable in cost, the Xbox is the only one. Secondly, most of the good games are cross platform anyways. And RE4 is going to look and play worse than the gamecube version will.

Because it's the easiest console to port it to. Xbox is basically a horribl low end PC, without a shell of some sort, and running its own custom kernal.

And it's true, Xbox and Gamecube both can produce better visuals than PS2, but then you have to remember that without Halo, the Xbox as we know it would be dead (Microsoft reps have even admitted to that) and the Gamecube is already on its way to 3rd party death. Don't get me wrong, Gamecube has got a ton of kickass Nintendo games on it, but it's 3rd party market is going the same way as the N64.

thats how i see it. there is virtually no good exclusive games for xbox. i dont even like halo really. maybe HL2 will save it.
