Re install- Pre load complete.

Doing my headin this, probably some stoopid i'm doig wrong. I bought HL2 a while back installed it, palyed itno problem. After reinstalling it now I cannot play it. On the stream window it has 'HALF LIFE 2 PRE LOAD COMPLETE' Can ou please advise on how I can the bloomin game to work?:frog:
