Running hl2 under Vista

Anyone else experiencing graphical corruption when running cs:s or hl2 whilst under Vista?

Currently using the latest Vista drivers for nvidia which they have on their website.

Athlon64 x2 3800+ at 2.67ghz - rock solid
DFI Lanparty UT SLI-D
2gigabytes pc3200 ram
2 x 7800gts in sli
 
what he is saying is that there is no official support for games yet, so like u are experiencing problems, there is nothing much we can do to help.

The beta is solely made for devs, not for playing games on.

Not ENTIRELY true, but yeah, that's the basic idea.
 
Lol, i was only trying it out :). I'll head back to XP then but it won't look as good though :(.
 
Half-Life 2: Episode One ran fine under Vista Beta2, but the game had lower system memory available (and thus ran like shit ;)). Vista uses about 450MB of system RAM at startup, and quite some megs of video RAM... I'm starting to hate this OS :P
 
Well half of that is because its running all the debug tools. Throw on they arn't running optimizations yet.....yeah... its what happens.

Actualy XP 64bit used about the same as vista in it's beta versions and then it got a good 100 megabyte drop if not more by the times of its release.
