Nine-year-olds at a school in the U.S. state of Georgia brought a broken steak knife, handcuffs and electrical tape to school in a plot to injure their teacher, authorities said on Tuesday.
...
"The plan was to handcuff the teacher, put tape over her mouth and hit her over the head with the paperweight and possibly cut her," said Lt. Duane Caswell of Waycross police, adding that some students said the knife was simply there to cut the tape.

"It was a rather elaborate scheme for children of that age," he said.

Unbelievable. On the other hand, all too believable.

Bah.. Already posted. Sorry to say it. Children of the Corn is the title. Go look for it.

Ah dammit. This wouldn't have happened if my 'new posts' link worked today.

psh, stupid handcuffs, those are the play-kind, you can even see the safety latch on them. My gf has a set of double locking smith and wessons she likes, none of that play nonsense for the big kids :)

The parents of these children should be administered corporal punishment across the face with a steel studded belt by the children themselves, lest they be sentenced to juvenile hall followed by life in prison. (Yes, a third grader. I know.) A total lack of discipline on the parents behalf is the cause of this nonsense imo and they should be punished for it. :|

Yes, my punishment is promised to be, "cruel and unusual" but surely it would be a very effective deterrent against youth violence. What kid who loves their parents would intentionally want to beat them for their incompetent parenting right?

EDIT> Oh, and for any reason the kid(s) seem to be getting some sort of sadistic enjoyment out of beating their parents rather than crying, then let the steel studded belt be laid across thier face instead.
