Wow, a plague of double-posting has gripped the forum.

Even in this new section, created so the cream of society can be safe from the menace, we cannot escape. D:

Sin: Episodes looks cool but if it takes too long between episodes people including me will be annoyed/sadface.

It will be good to have another Source SP game to balance Steam, rather than just having to wait for Valve to bring stuff out.

i would rather have an eta for the finished whole game - sadly with episodic gaming the answer could be a decade away
i am not happy :flame:
it may ooze quality but unless it costs €5-8 new then episodic gaming going to destroy gaming development not improve
extra development time allows for extra game polish - but how much development time should a community tolerate?

i really think this "episodic release" is going to revolutionize the gaming industry
i dig the idea of a sub 20 dollar game that is released every few months.
I like small doses more often than a huge game all at once and then wait 6 years for the next one to come out

yeah, the other hand gesturing is odd. half the time it looks the wrong way round and sometimes because your holding a double handed weapon it ends up that there are three of your arms on the screen.

i have to say i was impressed with their implementation of iron sights. i'd like to see it done with a rifle.

It simply astounds me people can't figure this out on their own. I mean maybe the first time, when it's on for a split second, just maybe you could confuse it with a weird glitch, but when it happens multiple times, and it's so obvious it isn't in-game, just wow...

And yes, I know by replying to that I'm not contributing to the thread so:

It looks a lot like a Half Life 2 Mod rather than a totally new game and whilst it is very early days, they released a video and should accept any criticisms made of things shown in that video.

Never played the original SIN and this doesn't seem appealing to me, perhaps one for the already converted?
