I don't exactly know what this gun is called (yeah I'm a n00b) cuz I never checked really... This took me like 3-4 hours, and I think anything I didn't do can be done with photoshop really... So meh. Weighs in at 1473 poly's.

Screenies:

And, yeah I know I'm not being very creative by adding yet another weapon model, but I just felt like learning some more modelling skills before I tackle concept art -> model stuff.

Hey WaterMelon do you have MSN or AIM... I have a quick question for ya

well its deffinetly not a colt 45 but looks awesome.

Yeah, I got msn. [email protected]

thanks. :D

EDIT: I just checked on google and the gun is actually a Sig Sauer. And Oh eM Gee I did the front end improperly...going to fix that now.

the gun looks nice and yeah it prob some sortof sig sauer p22something, but on the wire it looks like u got some unecessary polies.

Some of those poly's are on the inside of the gun to make it look more complete when the slide is back, etc. Others, I just saw the poly count and said screw it, it's low enough, and it won't make a visual difference.

I will not admit that I was too lazy. :P

yeah that poly count is really good for source so yeah i prob wouldnt bother, i dont even bother with iron sites and stuff like that if i feel lazy and say screw it at least u modeled the whole thing. oh yeah i think there are supposed to be grooves on the slide, and some more details on the handle (u could prob just texture and bump map that shit).

Rofl... If only I COULD! I've been trying to learn some texturing, and so far I only made a bump map for a barrel. There's still time though, still time... :bounce:

just so you know, "n00b" has two different meanings there's a "newb" who's new to something... and a "n00b" or "noob" who just acts like an ass

EDIT: oh, and by the way, that's a nice model

Exactly. I'm new to the Sig. That's why I don't know what it is called.... Actually nevermind, I think you are right. :(

i dont agree noob and newbie have the same meaning except that as microsoft said newbie is an affectionate term whereas noob isnt.
