If you've seen the original Kleiner and Barney I don't think you can really gauge how they should have aged.

I would imagine she still keeps in touch with her uncle who probably still works for Valve. I don't think she's old enough yet for you to have an interest in her, she's still a child.

Just thought of somthing...maybe thats a picture of alyx, when she was born...since freeman was a good close friend of Kliener, and kliener was always like a god father to alyx, so gordon maybe knows her from birth and probably saw her at black mesa a few times with her dad...possibly she was around 1o or 12 years old which is why the second is ten years in the future, shes grown up and even tells you that maybe you dont recognize her...for this reason maybe?
