If you pose a ragdoll, then click the statue option in the spawn menu, you can freeze that ragdoll in that pose. Then you can move it around however you want, and it'll stay in the pose.
Before if you locked a ragdoll in a pose, you could not move it from that spot.
You could create a statue by welding all the limbs to some small object, then making that object invisible, but this is much easier and usable.
