Have just left Alex sayin she is going to hack a generator. Exited the building to a small open triangular area with fountain shaped monument in centre plus supply crates and control booth behind with cables coming off roof, and health and power chargers inside - for the generator? Am trapped by closed barrier in front and two force fields off side streets.

Zapped combine force on high building and a man hack when exiting No one is now attacking me or my patrol. Am wandering around - nothing happens.
Stood in the control booth - nothing. Been back to Alex - nothing.

What am I missing? Can any one help?

uhm.. has alyx exposed the generator already? if so shoot it with yr grav gun

No. There is just the booth with a largeer structure behind and the fountain in front. Does she take long to open the generator?

yea she'll be there doin some funky thing to the computer then when she's done she'll ask you to blow it..
