Stuck on follow freeman

You can't touch the lasers, obviously. There is no point in trying to run as fast as you can to the switch. You have to go over them all. Jump on pipes or whatever so you can get to the switch.

I keep getting to the switch and I press "E" but it doesn't do anything.

Have you tripped the alarms? If not then beats me, when I got over there it worked. I say load from the save point before the one you are loading from, may be a bug.

Yea I did "trip" them

If you trip them, then you can't use the switch. It's a jumping puzzle, there ain't any loop holes in this one, well, except for noclip of course.

It is a jumping puzzle. I will tell you how I did it: When you get to the last three lasers where you obviously cant jump them directly. I stacked the three mines that are in the room on top of each other in the corner of the room and used them to jump on the big metal thing. From there onto a pipe and safely to the other side of the laser fence. I am sure you can figure out on which structure to jump.

There must be another way though because those mines can be destroyed.

I finally got past it, but now barney is being weird.

He keeps saying "to the roof gordon" "follow me" but he isn't moving.

I tryed reloading the last save point and played through it all over again.. still same thing happening..

Find your way through, I think you have to go back through the laser beam area where you came through in. Now that you've deactivated them they shouldn't bother you.

 

[Fighter]

You destroy the reactor and then you have to find a way to the roof. But I think you have to go back to where there used to be a forcefield blocking your way.
