Some stuff there is old info, but among the new stuff is that they're aiming for the game to run smooth on ATI 9600 och 128 Mb RAM-computers.
Apparently Marc Laidlaw wrote a 1000-page "Bible" on the HL universe after the first Half-Life (Man I'd kill to get a hold of that book), so there's plenty of stuff to tell.
The allied characters will respond to Gordon's commands differently depending on how he's handled previous situations.
EDIT: And they'll (if you have more than one ally with you)also respond differently to EACHOTHER depending on how they have handled the situations so far, w00t :afro:
Gabe Newell also says "We'd never be able to do the stuff we're doing with the Half-Life 2 engine with for instance the Quake 3 or Doom III-engine. "(Even more advanced than the Doom III-engine, take that! )
He also says that they have a well established relation with John Carmack and the rest of ID.
There will absolutely be a Half-Life 3.
They'll have a long vacation after they ship HL2 and then they'll continue working on TF2 and start the work on CS2.
EDIT: Apparently they got to play the game but that's covered in the paper version of the magazine, I'll see if I can get a hold of that one. :monkee:
