Find them yourself. What's the problem? Whenever I'm about to check out a new town, I travel there normally, so that I can find the "special spots" and admire the world.

Exactly.

Without the exploration factor, this game sucks. Balls.

I love skulking through the forest and running around to landmarks, raiding camps, that sort of thing.

I can't believe that ANYBODY would want to use a guide for this game. Maybe character creation guides, but man, all the landmark...

Oh well, to each his own I guess.

But admittedly there are some times when the map is useful such as the daedra shrines for the main quest and certain places at "x" when they tell you it's North of "y" and South of "z".

Fast travel is only cool when you just want to get there fast so you can do something.

If I just want to go to a town so I can do some shopping, i'll walk.

If I need to dump my stolen shit, i'll FT.
