LOLI couldn't care less.
Alright then...
We need to think of another "The Most Important Question in History"(forever hence reffered to as a "TMIQH").
Anyone got anything?
too long; didn't read.what does tl;dr mean? (or something liek that) I must have been absent the day they explained that. I think it means 'in short', but what do the letters stand for?
TL;DR is an abbreviation for Too Long; Didn't Read. It is used in response to a writer that doesn't know when to shut the <bleep> up. Most of what is found on LiveJournal is considered TL;DR. Notable examples of this facepalmingly annoying writing trend include The Holy Babble, everything ever written by Bill O'Reilly, and most of Encyclopedia Dramatica. TL;DR in all forms is a bannable offense on the Something Awful forums.
The polar opposite of TL;DR is TS;DR, which nobody ****ing uses.
The interweb site SparkNotes tries to fight TL;DR syndrome in books and shit, but their summaries are usually just as long and boring as the source material, because they are mostly written by pretentious <bleep> who wish they could write novels themselves instead of just summarizing them.
