I don't think it's fake. They were probably waiting for something/someone in the car and one of them was playing with the camera.

Do you think it was like: "Hey, kid! Here's 10 bucks if you run head first into that stop sign. Perform a nice ragdoll for 5 bucks extra"? :p
 
It's most likely faked... whats the chances of seeing that happen and be recording at the same time :p

Actually, I kind of did the same thing with a volleyball net. Hit it with my face, and flipped over.

Also, my friend broke his arm and dislocated his shoulder jumping over a tennis net. That video reminded me of that.

Back in the day, when I did this horrendous thing, I was like 14. But it ripped off some of the braces I had at the time, plus the horrible embarrasment.

The laugh is funny :D I find the laugh at the very end to be funny too.
 
dude if i hit a stop sign like that, i would also be on my ass, he might not be knowcked out, but i don't know if youve been hit in the head before (i had the pleasure of being slammed in the head with a math book at school, *inchoerent grunts*) but it hurts like hell and you get really dizzy, and it bent the sign, he did hit it pretty hard. and i don;t think its a fake, when you take into consideration all th poeple with cameras randomly filming, and all the retarded people running around, and all the stop signs, its all going to come together eventually. and maybe he did it on a dare or lost a bet, i mean i have done some pretty weird stuff on dares... but lets not get into that right now.

Uhh, yeah, if you were still concious you would be a lot more tense (unlike the way he fell) and you would also be gripping your face (unlike he did)

The guy was filming the corner of the building. Obvously waiting for the runner to come out. Staged for sure.

Not that I'm saying it isn't funny. I just like to argue things like this :p

More points: What is a jogger doing in the middle of a rainy night, in a parking lot? And plus, anyone with half a brain (especially a jogger, who runs all the time) should be able to see if there is an object infront of him. He looked at the damn thing for a full second. And as if that wasn't why he ran into it, I don't see how you can not judge whether your head is going to run directly into something. Maybe someone like a poorly coordinated 4 year old would do something like that. And just look at the guy. Not dressed like a jogger at all. Dressed like one of the older teens with too much time on their hands that always have these cameras :p

Also, the laugh was just wayyyyy too staged. I think he would be saying something like "oh my god!" or "holy sh**!" along with the laughing. And plus, the other guy that laughed, doesn't make any sense because he did it much after the incident, indicating that he wasn't looking when it happened... It just doesn't make sense. I'm guessing he was laughing at the purposely wacky laugh the camera man gave.

With that new "on a bet" point, I still have my original point standing, that it would not knock him out. And plus, why would the camera man be standing so far away, and (doing a bad job of pretending, I might add) not looking at the corner where the guy was supposed to be running from?

I'm saying, if they bet somebody to run into a stop sign, he was probably a friend, and being so i would probably stereotype (yeah blah blah, its wrong, oh well) them as not the sharpest hunks of cheese, so setup wouldn't be perfect. and if it were truly prestigious it would have been submittd to ABS not ebaums (lol, i take back that comment about ebaums.)

I think it's real. You can see how surprised he is on the way down. I can't see anyone running headlong into that knowing it was there and not slowing down at all.
