I took the liberty of retrieving the intro off Daggerfall, for those of you who don't know ES story, not even basically, it is summed up in the Assassination! letter in the beginning of Oblivion.
Daggerfall plays out BEFORE Oblivion, and notice how in the intro the emperor is basically bald.
This leads to my conclusion that the emperor you encounter in Oblivion is infact not the real emperor!
If he is, then he's wearing a wig, but I doubt an emperor would do that!
Speculate!!

Well, he is the emperor and the Arcane University has some pretty accomplished spellcasters, so I imagine that in all of their delvings into alchemy and illusion and such that they have managed to find a cure for baldness, right?

Hahaha! Yeah, you gotta figure that if you can summon a dremora lord or raise the dead (for the necromancers out there) that summoning some hair from some follicles wouldn't be too much of a stretch. :cheers:

Of course, you'd also think that you could conjure away a citizen's pants or dress too, but I haven't found that spell just yet. Disintegrate armor doesn't seem to have quite the effect I desire...:O

You know what I miss the most from Daggerfall?
The nudity..
I mean, hell, the priestess, witches etc, all of'em had bare breasts, that you could see, even the enemies did, kinda make me feel sad killing such bigbreasted ladies..

Ugh, big time. Our one hope is in the modding community. I have no doubt that they will bring back that very same guilty feeling that you get when slashing/hacking/pummelling beautifully-rendered big breasted female models in an Elder Scrolls Game. I want to feel that same guilt too!
