I just downloaded Valve Hammer Editor 3.4 (yes, JUST), and I just wanted to know how to set it to edit Half-Life 2. If I am misdirected please redirect me. I'd like to get to work on some glorious, glorious editing.

You can't use 3.4 for HL2, only HL. You get the new VHE via the Source SDK, on Steam. You need a valid copy of HL2 on your system first.

And by the way, what is the difference between the hammer and SDK?
