Valve Hammer Error

This is the first time i truly finished something of a map and i wanted to test it, this was my first attempt and i keep getting this error message

CModelLoader::Map_IsValid: No such map 'first'
map load failed: first not found or invalid


What is this and how can i fix it.

is there a space in the map name? if so, take it out and recompile
