VMware Player let's you run virtual machines on a Windows or Linux PC. Also, it is very quick and easy to set up. Basically it's a friggen kick ass emulator, that's not illegal.
This is the awesome part a file called browser-appliance.vmx is editable via notepad, what this means is you are able to run ISO images, that acts just like a CD-ROM drive!
So, this means Linux Live CD's can be used on a Windows OS and you can download the Slax or PHLAK ISO files and run Linux it's 100% free and legal!
Currently, I am running Slax via the VMware Player window right now....it's awesome!
Some things that are cool:
1. The internet works (while inside of the emulation)
2. Sound works (while inside of the emulation)
3. CPU usage is small (while inside of the emulation)
