Vortigaunt Expansion

Okay I'm not making this up. My brother heard from his friend that in the expansion you are going to play a Vortigaunt. I don't know where his friend heard this but the kid is a super hacker computer nerd and he's been correct about other rumors in the past.

The only reason I even see this as plausable is because the Vortigaunts are always saying that Gordon and them are one and the same, so it kind of makes sense that Valve would want to explore that route. I dunno though.. can vortigaunts even use weapons? Anyone else hear such a crazy rumor? This is the rumor board after all...

In the model viewer the vortigaunts had some gun wielding animations- I think.

That mod looks cool but that's definately not what he was talking about. There's a huge difference between talking about an old mod for HL1 and an official, future, expansion for HL2.

Anyway, I think it's feasible! If only because the whole "You are us, and we are you" thing was never explained with the Vortigaunts.

So basically if you played a Vortigaunt in the expansion you'd be playing part of Gordon? I don't know. It sounds crazy, but that's kinda why I think it would be good. People would never expect it.

They would. Its already been done in half life for PS2, you could go through the game as a vort.

He was holding the gun for the airboat. But its plausible they can wield guns anyway

The vortiguants arnt freeman, when they say they are joined they are talking about joined together in this inter dimensional vort essence thing. Just joined as in a bunch of particles.

I really think theyre pulling your chord, its possible that thee may be a vortigaunt mod, but i really think theyre just joking on
