Vortigaunt janitor.

Did anyone notice how the Vortigaunt janitor sweeping the floors in the beggining was wearing cuffs, a blet and a neck band. And all of the other Vortigaunts in the rest of the game you come in contact with do not? Is this one that did not get away?
The first pic is of the Vortigaunt janitor. The second is of the Vortigaunt when you make your first stop with the airport and get the cannon installed on it.

there was anotehr one like that in another level taht i dont recall. probably prospekt, he was in a chair being laser beamed.

i thought it was really obvious that they are on your side. thus they arent enslaved when they are with the other resistance. its obvious they are being persecuted by the combine.
